Why Amsterdam venture studios?
We’re happy to announce that we’ve become the newest member of the Amsterdam Venture Studios (AVS) at the Vrije Universiteit (VU) Campus. At GymStory we create a new platform that tracks fitness activities. We have been keeping track of our progress in the gym on our mobile phones for 10 years now. With our product, that is history. Our innovative tracking sensor digitizes power fitness machines in one second, after which users’ smartphone can connect to it and the GymStory app tracks their workout. In addition, the platform serves as an online community for gym go-ers.
With GymStory we specifically chose for AVS in order to become a part of the thriving Health and Sports Tech startup community at AVS and to collaborate directly with the VU academic department of Movement Sciences. Very soon we’ll move into our new office on campus and GymStory will have a new headquarters.
